TAMBOMACHAY in Spanish or Tampumachay (Quechua: tanpu mach'ay, place of rest) it is located near the Cusco. It is an archaeological site, that was destined to worship the water and in order that the chief of the Inca Empire could rest. This place also is named Baths of the Inca.

It consists of a series of aqueducts, channels and several waterfalls that run the rocks. The surprising thing is that from one principal waterfall, the Incas created 2 secondary waterfalls, which are exactly equal. That is to say, if somebody places two empty bottles, one in every waterfall, they both get filled at the same time.
Here also there was a kind of royal garden which irrigation was coming from a complicated system of channels specially done for such a function. Likewise it constituted for a zone of control people who were coming from Antisuyo (East side of the empire) with the idea of control
